In this changing times, how can we support each other?
We can share, collaborate, and encourage each other.
We can share, collaborate, and encourage each other.
Virtual learning has become the new normal. Video conferencing has become the day to day method of delivering instruction for teachers all over the United States. With COVID numbers rising and schools throughout the country shutting down, educators have to be creative about how content is being delivered and how students are being assessed. If your students are anything like my high schoolers many of them are hating virtual learning for a variety of reasons. I have heard everything from "this is too much work" to " this work is too easy, why are we doing this?" from my students.
-Internet not working... Go watch the video. Could I have recorded my lessons Pre-COVID? Of course, but it wasn't easy or high on my list of priorities. My students always had access to my slides but now they have access to my lecture, my voice. They can get more of the lesson experience. They get the little stories and explanations and tangents I go off on in addition to just reading the slides and content. So I am taking this as a COVID win.
